A charming and hospitable country, offering incredible jungle, jaw dropping beaches and delicious cuisine. Thailand has it all. Oh, and did we mention the wonderful elephants native to this land?

On your GIA trip you will be helping those very same elephants, preparing their nutrition balls and aiding the Mahuts in their work. Many of these elephants have suffered years of exploitation as performers or involvement in logging and farming. The Mahuts have dedicated their lives to caring for them so it is a privilege to have an insight into this world.

As well as working with elephants, you will learn how to upcycle trash into useful objects, be involved in conservation initiatives and get your hands dirty on community construction projects.

But of course that is not all. You will visit Khaok Sok, home to the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, a place full of mountains, deep valleys and spectacular lakes.

You can enjoy canoe rides and jungle safaris in this magical place.

And return home with new perspectives; exactly what travel is all about.
