england

On your GIA trip to England, you will have the opportunity to be involved in community projects where even a few short days can make a big difference. You will be helping homeless people in cities such as London, assisting in soup kitchens and learning about the reasons people can end up in these difficult situations.

Your trip to England is also about team-building and about challenging yourself. You will be taking part in obstacle courses, working together to build rafts, kayaking and much more, all in the beautiful English countryside. Furthermore, you will be hearing from someone who damaged his spine in a serious car accident, but who managed to overcome this to run 156 miles across the Sahara for the Marathon des Sables. He has appeared on the BBC, ITV and has even spoken at Buckingham Palace. A truly remarkable story of what can happen when you understand that your only obstacle in life is one created in your mind.

You will visit the quaint town of Stamford, full of Regency buildings nestled in the English countryside, to experience a typically English way of life. The trip also includes a visit to Cambridge university to learn about what it takes to study there.

Perhaps your GIA trip will provide some inspiration for your own future - we certainly hope so!
